The Murder Capital share new track “Green & Blue”

The Murder Capital by Gavin Ovoca

Hot off their recent support slots with punk band IDLES, Dublin punk band The Murder Capital have shared their latest track “Green & Blue”.

The six minute long epic is relentless, it simmers along for it’s duration with a slow burn that feels like it’s teetering on the edge of a crescendo at several points only to pull you back into it’s mesmerising darkness. The press release for the track states that it’s “a tautly wound exercise in both darkness and light” and there’s not a better way to describe it than that.

The Murder Capital are riding on a high wave of hype right now, following the release of their debut single “Feeling Fades”and despite “Green & Blue” only being the second recorded track released into the wild, it’s clear the band are destined for the bigger things with their live shows being exceptionally well received, the reputation of the band is being built up by word of mouth as evidenced by the crowds filling up early to catch them at the aforementioned IDLES shows.
