Record Store Day is back in 2020 for the 13th year to celebrate independent record stores with limited edition vinyl releases from some of the biggest names around.
This year Record Store Day sees releases from Biffy Clyro, J Hus, My Chemical Romance and an exclusive live record from 2020’s official ambassadors The Big Moon who recorded the tracks in front of a live audience at Metropolis Studios. Two of the tracks, “Your Light” and “Waves” are from their superb new album “Walking Like We Do” with the final track being a cover of Fatboy Slim’s “Praise You“.
Other highlights on the list include:
– Billie Eilish’s live at Third Man Records
– The Cure limited edition picture discs for the 40th anniversary of Seventeen Seconds and 20th anniversary of Bloodflowers.
– Britney Spears second album Oops!… I Did It Again with a host of rare tracks and remixes.
– Post Malone’s Hollywood’s Burning first vinyl release.
– The Kinks repressing of The Kink Kronikles, a compilation originally released in 1972.
