Newcastle indie band Maximo Park are back with their 8th studio album, “Stream of Life” which will be released on 27th September.
The band’s last record, “Nature Always Wins”, very nearly became their first Number 1 album in February 2021. Leading the race all week, it was very narrowly beaten by Architects‘ “For Those That Wish to Exist” at the very last minute. It did, however, become the band’s second Number 2 album equalling the peak reached by “Our Earthly Pleasures” 13 years earlier.
The first single from the album, “Your Own Worst Enemy”, premiered today. The video is released at 7pm tonight but you can listen to the song below:
The band will also embark on a UK tour in October.
