If you have not heard of Font yet, that is quite likely to change. The Austin quintet have announced that their debut LP “Strange Burden”, will be released on 12th July via Acrophase Records.
The band will be supporting Yard Act on their US tour dates in June. A press release says “In creating Strange Burden, the band referred increasingly to Talking Heads’ writing process with Brian Eno for Remain in Light” and this reference point makes absolute sense when you listen to the excellent lead single, “Hey Kekulé“.
