After appearing on countless “One to Watch” lists over the last few years and releasing their excellent debut album “From Caplan To Belsize” in 2016, Muncie Girls return with another certified pop-punk banger.

“Picture of Health” is the first track from “Fixed Ideals” which is due out 31st August on Specialist Subject Records .

It’s a huge tune about friends supporting each other as lead singer and bassist Lande Hekt proclaims  “I’ve been having a hard time looking after myself/You’re not looking exactly like a picture of health/ I was thinking maybe you could look after me and I could do the same for you/ Just for a while ’til we’re back on our feet.”

 

Hekt wrote about the album in a press release, saying “These are some of the most personal songs I’ve written, and I was listening to different music when I wrote them and during the recording, which probably sounds quite noticeable”
