Lukas Nelson and Promise of the Real – “Forget About Georgia”

“Forget About Georgia” is the title track from the new digital 5-track EP by Lukas Nelson and Promise of The Real .

The EP is the follow up to the critically acclaimed debut self titled album which was released in August 2017. “Forget About Georgia” was featured on the album but there are two different versions, including the radio edit, that make it onto this EP alongside two new tracks and a cover of David Bowie’s Life On Mars.”

Since the release of the album the band have been relentlessley touring including headline shows in both America and Europe and festival shows including Austin City Limits and SXSW.

The band have also backed up Willie Nelson, Lukas’ father, on tour as his regular touring backing band.

The band are continuing on their rise as they’ve been nominated for Band of the Year at the Americana Music Awards 2018 where they are set to perform. “And each night I pray I’ll forget about Georgia
‘Cause she’ll never love me like I know a love’s supposed to be”

The track has an accompanying video which has been directed by Peter Harding:
