Taking place at Cheltenham Racecourse over 29 – 31 May 2020 and regularly nominated for Best Family Festival at the UK Festival Awards, Wychwood Festival have added to this year’s lineup and it’s going to be a big one!
90’s Brit legends, Embrace, will be headlining the main stage at Wychwood Festival on Friday night this year. 22 years since their debut No1 album, “The Good Will Out”, and the band remain an impressive live force having played Alexandra Palace last year and are gearing up for some arena shows this month. You can expect plenty of hits from their back catalogue including “Nature’s Law”, “Gravity”, “All You Good Good People” and, our personal favourite, “My Weakness Is None Of Your Business”.
The Divine Comedy have previously been announced to headline the Saturday night and we now know they’ll be joined on the Main Stage by The Lightning Seeds. We had the privilege of seeing the band play their classic “Jollification” album in full last year together with a Greatest Hits set and can confirm there will be plenty of anthems. Seeing as the Festival leads us into the Euros 2020, chart-topper “Three Lions” should make an appearance.
Other acts announced include folk singer, Seth Lakeman, Britpop legends Sleeper and cult London band Tankus The Hedge.
The family-friendly festival have also announced their comedy lineup and a host of other entertainment activities in addition to previously announced Dreadzone, The Christians, Craig Charles and Basil Brush!
There’s more to be announced and Earl Bird tickets are already sold out. You can buy the remaining Day and Weekend tickets for Wychwood Festival from https://wychwoodfestival.com/buy-tickets
