Oxfordshire’s Cornbury Festival returns 10th – 12th July 2020. We already know that Van Morrison, Dido, Jack Savoretti, The Waterboys and King Creole are playing. They have now confirmed that former Boyzone frontman, Ronan Keating, will be their Sunday night headliner.
Today’s announcement also confirms that legendary US band America will be on the bill. Their 1971 anthem, “A Horse with No Name”, has seen a surge in popularity in recent years thanks to its use in Breaking Bad and BoJack Horseman. It’s quite a booking for the independent, garden fete festival.
A string of other acts have been announced including Brand New Heavies, The Magic Numbers, Aurora Orchestra (who will be playing Vivaldi’s Four Seasons before Dido‘s set), The Dualers, Ward Thomas, The Real Thing, The Christians and, one of Radio 2’s favourite newcomers, Twinnie.
