All Points East is taking over London’s Victoria Park for the third year in a row.
We were lucky to catch all 6 days last year which took in headline performances from The Strokes, Bring Me The Horizon, Christine & the Queens, Bon Iver, Mumford & Sons and The Chemical Brothers.
It has already established itself as a festival which prides itself on a mix of interesting headliners paired with well-curated undercards and this year is proving to be no exception.
They’ve just announced that Bombay Bicycle Club will be headlining the first night on 22nd May. We caught the band on their comeback tour at the start of this year and they are the perfect festival band. Songs from their recently released fifth album, “Everything Else Has Gone Wrong”, sit perfectly alongside the anthems from their earlier records.
Mercury-nominated rapper, Loyle Carner, will be joining them on an eclectic bill which also includes soul singer Lianne La Havas, electro indie band Everything Everything, alternative powerhouse Nadine Shah and genre-hopping Nilüfer Yanya whose exceptional 2019 album “Miss Universe” is well worth investigating if you missed it last year.
It’s the perfect way to start the festival season and you can buy tickets at https://www.allpointseastfestival.com/tickets/ now.
