CONNECT FESTIVAL ADDS IDLES, JESSIE BUCKLEY, BERNARD BUTLER & MORE

Connect Festival adds IDLES, Jessie Buckley & Bernard Butler, Holly Humberstone and Joesef to it’s line-up alongside already announced artists such as Jon Hopkins, The Chemical Brothers and The National.

Connect Festival launches in 2022 for the first time, taking place 26th – 28th August at Edinburgh’s Royal Highland Centre Showground, the festival promises to “feature the best in left field talent, from grassroots through to award-winning headliners”.

The festival will have “some of the most influential and truly pioneering names in music from around the world with the very best of Scotland’s homegrown heroes” split across it’s three stages; The Grand Parade which will focus industry heavy-weights, such as IDLES, The Chemical Brothers, The Twilight Sad & The National, Guitars & Other Machines which is set to be a showcase for up-and-coming artists, such as Josef, Moses Boyd, Newdad & DEHD and, finally, the Unknown Pleasures stage which has an eclectic mix of electronic music, comedy and cabaret.

Today’s wave of artists sees IDLES, Jessie Buckley & Bernard Butlter, Holly Humberstone, Joesef, Lyra, Jealous of The Birds, Newdad, Opus Kink, India Jordan, Taahliah and more added to the festival bill.
