NEW MUSIC: Boston Manor Return with Ambitious New Single ‘Container’

Boston Manor make a powerful return today with their latest single, ‘Container’, marking their first release of 2024. The track exudes passion and ambition, offering a glimpse into the band’s evolving sound and thematic exploration. Lead singer Henry Cox delves into the concept behind ‘Container’, describing it as an exploration of second chances and the urgency of instigating change before being consumed by life’s stagnancy.

Driven by a desire for growth and renewal, Boston Manor embraces change with ‘Container’, setting the stage for an exciting new chapter in their musical journey. Produced by Larry Hibbitt and engineered by Alex O’Donovan, the band ventured beyond the confines of London to record in the tranquil countryside, resulting in a brighter sonic landscape compared to their previous album, ‘Datura’.

Known for their socially conscious songwriting, ‘Container’ marks a shift towards introspection as Boston Manor focuses on personal narratives and the transformative power of music. Guitarist Mike Cunniff reflects on the recording process, noting the refreshing influence of their rural surroundings. Lead singer Cox emphasizes the importance of creating immersive music that provides solace to listeners.
