ArcTanGent festival have announced that progressive rock band Coheed & Cambria will be taking the Thursday night headline slot at the festival this August, joining Meshuggah and Battles who headline Friday and Saturday respectively.
Coheed & Cambria have commented on their slot “We look forward to playing with this extremely unique and talented group of musicians—bands like Meshuggah, Battles and Daughters—who have each fearlessly approached sound to mold a musical voice all their own. ArcTanGent feels like a festival designed to inspire the audience and we’re excited to be a part of the experience”
Joining them in this announcement are Employed to Serve, Puppy, Raketkanon, Brutus, Cultdreams, Slow Crush and Gender Roles.
Puppy are making a lot of noise on the scene currently and they too have spoken about their slot stating “People have been saying we should play ArcTanGent for a couple of years now but unfortunately none of those people were the person who books the festival, so we never have. Imagine our surprise when the only person with the authority to actually make this happen contacted us and said “Boys, it’s fucking time” I didn’t even have to ask who was on the phone. Let’s get these breadsticks.”
