Paul Smith, lead singer of Maxïmo Park, has released “Silver Rabbit” – the first track from his upcoming fourth solo album “Diagrams“.
The two minute, lo-fi, garage rock track continues to showcase the Smith’s versatility as an artist.
“It’s a punchy song where the self-doubt and regret in the lyrics is mirrored by the musical tension that develops as it goes along. I grew up in the grunge era, so this has echoes of that sound but with my own romantic view of everyday life.” Smith has said of the track.
“Diagrams” is the follow up to 2015’s “Contradictions” and is due out October 26th via Billingham Records.
