Phantastic Ferniture – “Bad Timing”

Phantastic Ferniture

Phantastic Ferniture are an indie-rock trio heralding from Sydney, Australia.

The band is fronted by Julia Jacklin, who’s solo music has been meeting acclaim for some time now, alongside Elizabeth Hughes and Ryan K. Brennan.

Whilst the band’s debut self-titled album is due out on July 27th, the band actually formed in 2015 where they played some live shows before quietly fading away whilst their solo careers took off. Now, they’re back and have released three stunning singles.

The newest, Bad Timing, and it’s accompanying video, seem to back up Jacklin’s statement when she said in a press release that “I’d gone straight into folk music, so every experience I’d had on stage was playing sad music with a guitar in my hand. I thought, I would love to know what it’s like to make people feel good and dance.”.

We can’t wait to hear the full thing come next week!
