Eliza & The Delusionals – “Half Empty Girl”

Eliza & The Delusionals

Australia’s indie-pop quartet Eliza & The Delusionals follow up a successful 2017 with their new track “Half Empty Girl”.

The band have been making noise over in Australia with frequent praise from Triple J and receiving a nomination for  ‘Song Of The Year’ at the 2017 Gold Coast Music Awards with the track “Salt” from their EP “The Deeper End”.  They’ve toured with Nothing But Thieves, Grinspoon, Ali Barter and City Calm Down.

“Half Empty Girl” was produced and recorded by Oscar Dawson from Holy Holy and explores the theme of self doubt and questioning the choices you make in life.

“I’ll ask myself, what are you doing with your life/I’ll ask myself, why can’t you read between the lines/I tell myself that I’m alright” sings Eliza Klatt during the bridge.

It’s a wonderful slice of power pop akin to the sound of Catfish & The Bottlemen and is catchy as hell.

We’re hoping that they head over here soon!
