Glastonbury Festival returns on 26th June and they are now announcing line-ups for the various different stages and areas. Typically, each of the main stages and areas is given the opportunity to show off their line-up with an individual announcement separate from the main poster.
Today, the Woodsies area drops its poster which includes the line-up for the Woodsies Stage, formerly known as the John Peel Tent. We already knew that Jamie XX, Gossip and James Blake would be headlining this stage but the poster has also revealed some new names.
Kim Gordon was rumoured to be playing the festival after announcing a string of UK shows in June but was absent from the main poster. The Sonic Youth frontwoman has now been confirmed for the Woodsies stage and, based on their other dates, it is likely that Kim will be on the farm on the Sunday evening.
Other new additions not previously announced are The Vaccines, The K’s, Lambrini Girls, Voice of Baceprot (who will be opening Woodsies on Friday) and JayaHadADream who won Glastonbury’s annual Emerging Talent Competition.
