NEWS: FUTURE ISLANDS RELEASE STUNNING VIDEO FOR “THE THIEF”

Hot off the presses, Future Islands has just dropped their seventh album, “People Who Aren’t There Anymore” on 4AD. Building on this momentum, the band has unveiled a visually stunning video for the track ‘The Thief’, directed by Ivana Bobic. Additionally, they’ve announced an extensive North American tour and added further UK and European dates to their itinerary in support of the project.

Future Islands will be gracing European shores in May following their previously announced shows in South America scheduled for March. Their newly revealed UK tour in July includes stops in Bristol, Glasgow, Newcastle, and a highly anticipated London performance at Crystal Palace Bowl on July 27th. The North American leg of the tour kicks off in Boston on June 19th and features a highlight stop at the iconic Radio City Music Hall in New York on June 20th.

To celebrate the recent release of “People Who Aren’t There Anymore”, Future Islands is currently in London for two sold-out Banquet Record in-store performances at Kingston’s Pryzm. During their UK stay, the band made a memorable appearance on Channel 4’s Sunday Brunch and also went live on NTS, treating fans to exclusive insights into their creative process.
